I understand that you are North American, so our cultural expectations are different. Still, the racism and sexism exhibited in this article is disgusting.

You may have had a point buried within the article, but it’s hard to dechiper.

At any rate, I would recommend toning down on the musogynism and misandrism.

Women are more than damsels in distress and men are more than amygdaloid brutes. Do some people follow those cliches ? Sure, but most individuals rise above such gender stereotypes.

As for bringing race into an article about high school sex and partying… I mean, I don’t even get how that came about, what relation it bares to the rest of your points.

I understand you feel it’s natural to think of race and gender as dictating personality. I understand that makes them huge sticking points for any issuess. But this kind of retoric is flawed, it only leads to separation and prejudice.

Humans are individuals.

Your experiences and the makeup of your brain determine who you are. Some may even state that you determine who you are.

A slightly different reproductive organ, different templates for hormone production or a gene that dictates skin pigmentation do not supercede people’s individualism.

Claiming otherwise is bad, not just because it’s sexist and/or racist, but because it’s reductionist. It strips down individuals to a single genetic accident, it takes away their agency and their complexity.
