I’m certain many people share that opinion. I’ve gotten some amount of emails and reddit comments complaining about it. I can see where you are coming from.
The article is written however, once I write something I tend to leave it largely unchanged but for correcting factual errors, citations and grammar.
I’m doubly careful about removing parts that seem to make many people uneasy, since those are usually the parts that ought to be said most.
Personally I can see how the last part ties into the rest. I’ve detailed as much in my response to @LitCoder
That being said, if you wish to share this with a person but believe the last part will not sit well with them:
a) Advise them to not read it or ignore it, after all, works need not be taken in as a whole. You can disagree with some of the things I said while still finding value in others
b) Cut out the part of the article that you want to share… you have my blessing to do so, if you wish to cite the original source and name be my guest, I’d appreciate it if you did so. But I certainly plan on enforcing no copyrights on any of the things I write, it’s all FOSS.
