There seems to be a widespread issue throughout Europe right now: More people hitting retirement age (as a % of the population) and they are living longer and longer.
At the moment governments are dealing with it via increasing the retirement age, once that can no longer be done, I feel like most European countries will suffer just as much.
The fundamental problem is that 20–30% of people’s lives are now spent as “seniors”, with the average life expectancy in the developed world quickly approaching 90.
